Can I take a deposit for full sets?
Yes - per service. Set a deposit on the long appointments and leave quick infills deposit-free if you like. Deposits charge through your own connected Stripe account and count toward the price on the day.
Can clients pick between infills and a new set?
Yes. Your services list shows each option with its own duration and price, so the right amount of time gets booked and your day stays honest.
Do I need a card machine or a website?
Neither. FullDiary gives you the booking page (your link, your branding) and card deposits run through Stripe online. In the salon, customers pay however you already take payment.
Is it really free to start?
Yes: 20 bookings a month free, with the booking page, the live diary and the QR card included. No card to start, nothing expires, and there is never commission on bookings. Paid plans start at 9.99 GBP a month when you outgrow it.
Do my customers need an app?
No. Your booking page is a link - it opens in their browser, they pick a service and a time, and the confirmation lands by email. Nothing to install on either side.
